The Garden Tomb
A military
man by the name of Gordon in the late 1800’s looked at the following rock
outcropping and saw the face of a skull:

No doubt
dissatisfied with the Church of the Holy Sepulcher as the setting for the
crucifixion and burial of Jesus, and also noting that it was inside the walls
(as a previous page notes, the current wall is not the original wall. The church was outside the wall at that
time).
Gordon
found a tomb near this outcropping that looks like a skull (

This tomb
is in a garden.
It is
unlikely that this is the site of Jesus’ death and burial, but most would agree
it has the right atmosphere for it.
